This race is being run on behalf of St James’s Church – to help keep it running as a vital resource for our village.  So it is important that we minimise our running costs whilst making the race accessible by retaining as low an entry fee as possible. For this reason, you won’t get a flash race t-shirt, medal or certificate for completing the course. But you will get excellent hospitality, great flapjack, bananas and soup as a thank you for turning out and supporting us.  It would not be a race – unless we had winners – so our kind sponsors help us out with modest prizes to mark the “best in” the following categories.

We will be awarding small prizes for each of the following categories:  

• 1st  Male and Female runners
• 1st Prize (M40, M50, M60, M70  and F40, F50, F60, F70)
• 1st local Male runner (HG4 Postcode) 
• 1st local Female runner (HG4 Postcode) 
• 1st  Team prize
